We sponsor a community photography contest each year.   We request the community to submit digital photos in 3 categories (pets, nature and vacations for example).  We have a panel of judges select the best and give awards. The photos are displayed in the Welcome Center and a reception is held to present cash awards.

This event promotes the arts and provides a cultural art opportunity for residents of Abbeville County and the surrounding area.  This photo contest gives people a venue for their photography and encourages their artistic abilities.
