Each year we sponsor a minimum of four workshops that feature visiting artists to the Abbeville County community. Our past workshops brought visitors to Abbeville from the surrounding areas. We advertise the workshops in newspapers, websites, Facebook, and other media to the community. We encourage everyone to participate, not just artists. We use the Abbeville Civic Center as the venues for these workshops. We pay the instructors to conduct the workshops and we provide some of the supplies needed. Each participant pays a small fee for the workshops and the Artist Guild pays the balance. These workshops encourage art expression and promote the arts. We seek to enrich our community and promote growth through education and active participation in the arts and exhibition of all forms of art. These workshopsexpose the community to many forms of art. They give people a venue for their artwork and encourage their artistic abilities
